The Tenderloin Trio:
Who: A relatively new (and welcome) addition to the Savannah music family, the Tenderloin Trio is a testimony to the bizarre (in a good way) nature of the Hostess City. A modern redux of Depression-era country, the trio consists of banjo, guitar and a musical saw, creating a sound so stunningly authentic that time machines could be involved. Eschewing the clichés of contemporary pop-country, they sing songs about drugs, alcohol and strange women, just like the way things used to be. If you want to hear something different and fun, then start with these folks. You won't regret it.
