"Op een piepklein buitenpodiumpje in de immer gemütliche Biergarten voor dB's speelt het Amerikaanse Tenderloin Trio hilbilly countrymuziek die je rechtstreeks terugvoert naar het broeierige Zuiden van Amerika ten tijde van de jaren '30 en '40 van de vorige eeuw. Steinbeckiaanse muziek ten tijde van The Great Depression, een fenomeen waar wij hier tegenwoordig ook last van schijnen te hebben. Denk aan (hele oude) helden als "the Singing Brakeman" Jimmie Rodgers en de Carter Family met muzikale thema's als murder ballads, geestverschijningen, drugs, overspel en meer van dat soort gezellige zaken. Bovendien beschikt het Tenderloin Trio over een geheim wapen in de vorm van de griezelig gierende Zingende Zaag bespeeld door de mysterieuze en lieftallige Molly McIntosh."

On the tiniest stage ever in the beer garden at dB's in Utrecht, play Tenderloin Trio, hillbilly American country music that puts you straight back to the sultry South of America at the time of the 30s and 40s of the last century. Steinbeckian music at the time of The Great Depression, a phenomenon which we now seem to have also suffered from. Think of (very old) stars such as "the Singing Brakeman" Jimmie Rodgers and the Carter Family's music with themes, like murder ballads, ghosts, drugs, adultery and other such nice things. Furthermore, the Tenderloin Trio has a secret weapon in the form of the weird howling Singing Saw played by the mysterious and lovely Molly McIntosh.
